Presented is a lovely American sterling silver footed bowl. This piece was made by Roger Williams and dates to around the turn of the century. This bowl features a beautifully pierced applied rim, with designs of trellises, flowers, and scrolled foliage. The side of the bowl has a monogram of JC in elegant script.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Roger Williams Silver Co, as well as the retail mark for Bigelow, Kennard & Co.
The bowl measures about 6 1/4 inches in diameter and stands about 2 1/4 inches tall.
The bowl weighs 227 grams or 8.0 regular ounces. -jm
