Lovely c1900 Art Nouveau 14k Gold & Opal Ring

Presented is a lovely karat yellow gold and opal ring. This piece dates to
1895-1910 and is likely of American make. The ring is set with a round opal, a
natural stone with beautiful flashes of orange, red, and green. The setting of
the ring is done very much in the Art Nouveau style of the time period, all
sinuous curves swirls.
The ring is in great condition. The opal is securely glued or epoxied into
the setting. There is a chip to the back of the opal, but this can't be seen
while the ring is being worn.
This piece is nitric acid tested and guaranteed 14 karat gold.
The ring is a size 6 1/4.
The ring weighs 7.6 grams.
