Presented is a lovely Arts & Crafts sterling silver pin. The center has a
bezel set stone that could possibly be an opal or perhaps a labradorite. In any
case, I guarantee it to be a real semi-precious stone.
The great looking Arts and Crafts design is extremely well crafted,
suggesting the work of maker William Spratling. It is not signed, so I cannot
attribute a maker. I can only say that it is a terrific design and well
executed.
The stone has a crack that is only noticeable when held at an angle to the
light. The bezel set is extremely secure, however, and the stone should not fall
out.
The pin is 1 7/16 inches by 1 1/4 inches. The stone is 3/4 inch or 20 mm by
1/2 inch or 14 mm.

This pin was made circa 1930's - 1950's. Although it is not hallmarked I have tested it and guarantee it to be silver.
