Presented is a fine quality antique Dutch silver spoon, dated 1894. The spoon is
made in a traditionally ornate design, with an apostle terminal above a very
prominent Amsterdam crest, with the three X's in a shield supported by lions,
all on a twist form handle. Above the bowl is a classical dolphin or fish and,
interestingly, an upside-down figure. The bowl is round and features a nicely
detailed farm scene.
