Lovely 1870s French Porcelain 12 Set Soup Bowls Ernie Du Bac Paris 9 1/4 in

Presented is a set of 12 wonderful French porcelain soup bowls from 1870s. The set displays a gorgeous orange pattern with classic French scroll and leafy details around border with a gold edge. The design has an applied darker orange border with the light orange being hand painted. There is a stylized monogram at the center at each bowl, a W and T, interwoven, made up of the orange style decorations and pink roses to make up the letters.
The underside of each bowl is marked “Ernie Du Bac Paris”, and “71” maybe for 1871. We have other pieces in this pattern. We encourage you to view our page or reach out if you are interested in more of this collection.
The soup bowl set is in great overall condition. As seen in the photos, there is a some variation in the condition of the gilded edge and the center monogram. Two of the bowls have small repairs to the edge, this can be seen in the last photo. We found no other chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. The orange decorations are mostly well-defined.
