Presented is a charming 14 karat gold, pearl and enamel pin or brooch. This is an American piece, dating to around the 1950s. The pin is done in the form of a wreath, with eight round pearls for 'berries' and leaves decorated with bright translucent green enamel. Given the white berries and double leaves, it may be meant to be a mistletoe wreath, but this attractive piece can of course be worn regardless of the time of year. The pin has a rollover style safety clasp.
The pin is in great condition. The enamel is in good shape and all intact. There are no breaks and no repairs. The clasp functions well and closes securely.
The pin is stamped 14k on the shaft. The rest of the pin is also 14 karat gold, nitric acid tested and guaranteed.
The pin is about 1 inch in diameter.
This piece weighs 4.7 grams.
