Late 1800s Handsome Pair 10k Rose Gold Carved Hardstone Cameo Cufflinks

Presented is a handsome pair of carved hardstone cameo cufflinks or collar buttons in 10 karat rose gold. These cufflinks date to around the 1870s-1880s and were made in America. The cameos depict a lovely young woman in profile, with her hair done up, white against black. The carvings are very detailed and well done. The back of each cufflink is monogrammed MG.
The cufflinks are in great overall condition. The cufflink on the left side in the first photo has a tiny chip in the upper lefthand corner. This is quite hard to notice in person, without close inspection. The cufflink on the righthand side has an even tinier chip, on the lefthand side of the top edge. Otherwise there are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
The cufflinks are not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested them with nitric acid and guarantee them to be 10 karat gold.
Each cufflink measures about 7/8 of an inch by 5/8 of an inch.
