Presented is a fantastic Turkish silver decanter and cup set. The set consists of a long necked decanter or ewer and six cups. This set dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. The decanter and cups feature intricately engraved knotwork designs, very detailed and well done. The cups are a small size, appropriate for cordials, strong coffee, etc.
This set is in great overall condition. The cups have test marks to the underside, but this is not noticeable unless they are turned upside down and inspected, this will never be seen during normal use. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The decanter has two Turkish hallmarks on the handle. The set has been nitric acid tested and is guaranteed at least 900 purity silver.
The decanter is about 11 ½ inches tall. The cups are each about 1 5/8 inches tall.
The total weight for the set is 634 grams or 22.4 regular ounces.
