Presented is a lovely antique American sterling silver napkin ring, monogrammed 'Walters.' This piece dates to around the late 1800s. The napkin ring is made in a very simple yet classical style, and the engraving of the name is done very well in fluid script, undoubtedly by hand.
This napkin ring is in great condition. There is only minor surface wear, commensurate with age and use. The ring is just the tiniest bit out of round, but this is not at all noticeable especially if the piece were being used to hold a napkin. No splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs. This piece is stamped on the interior with sterling and the number 531.
The napkin ring measures about 1 5/8 inches in diameter and is about 1 1/2 inches tall.
