Presented is a wonderful quality, 18 karat yellow gold, diamond and natural pearl bar pin made during the 1880s or 1890s. This old bar pin is 18 karat yellow gold with a silver top portion. The pin is well set with 14 nice rose cut diamonds and 3 natural pearls. The pin has its old C style clasp.
The stem is marked with a maker’s mark. This piece has been tested with nitric acid and is guaranteed to be 18 karat gold purity. The top has also been tested and is silver.
This pin is in fabulous overall condition. There are no missing stones, no damages and no repairs.
The pin measures 2 1/8 inches wide and weighs 3.8 grams.
