Presented is a gorgeous sterling silver dish by Gorham from 1898. This piece has an oval quatrefoil shape. The design shows a stunning floral boarder which displays large and different flowers in each of the quatrefoil corners. Each of the flowers have unique details but all display large flowing petals. There are smaller flowers nestled in between the large flowers. The edge shows long elegant scrolls.
This piece is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Gorham. There is also Gorham's three arrow mark which represents the year 1898.
The dish is in excellent condition. The base of the dish probably has had a monogram removal. The removal has done well. The metal does not appear to be thinner, but there are two very small dings. The floral details are crisp and clear. There are no breaks and no repairs.
