Presented is a lovely Czech porcelain covered entree serving dish, by Epiag. This piece dates to around the 1930s. This piece is made in the pattern numbered 9561. This pattern features colorful floral swags beneath intricate scrollwork designs, against a white ground. The dish features gilt detailing, with gilding on all the handles, the rim of the lid, and around the side of the dish. This piece is marked Epiag, Czechoslovakia, and the pattern number 9561.
This piece is in great overall condition. There is some minor wear to the gilding on the handle of the lid and the handles of the dish itself, but nothing excessive. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
The dish measures about 11 inches from handle to handle, or about 8 ½ inches in diameter not including the handles.
The height to the top of the lid is about 4 3/8 inches. -jm
