Presented is a lovely 14 karat gold bar pin set with sapphires and pearls. This is an American piece, by renowned maker Krementz. The pin is 14 karat yellow gold, with a platinum top. The pin is set with round faceted sapphires alternating with small pearls. These are not man-made or synthetic sapphires, we have looked at them under a microscope and they are mined-from-the-ground stones, in a beautiful shade of blue and quite well matched.
This piece is in great condition. The sapphires and pearls are well set. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The pin is hallmarked on the clasp with the maker's mark for Krementz as well as being marked 14k. The white top of the pin is platinum, nitric acid tested and guaranteed.
The pin is approximately 2 1/2 inches long. The sapphires are 3 mm in diameter.
