Presented is a charming, 18 karat deep yellow gold and hand carved shell cameo brooch/pin or pendant made in Italy. The solid gold mounting has a thin rope band of design around the bezel. The cameo is carved into a three graces or dancing hours scene, with three robed women dancing underneath an arrangement of flowers and leaves. There is a hinged bale or loop on the top to hang the piece as a pendant. The clasp has a safety latch for added security.
The back is marked Italy and 750 for 18 karat gold purity.
