Presented is an old, 18 karat yellow gold and micro mosaic scarf ring from the late 1800s. This piece is Italian in origin and was done during the Egyptian Revival Period of the late 19th century. The front of the ring has a micro mosaic of King Tut or another Egyptian pharaoh.
This piece has been tested with nitric acid and is guaranteed to be 18 karat gold purity.
This piece is in great overall condition for its age. There are some minor dents and some tesserae (micro mosaic pieces) missing, but there are no other damages and no repairs.
The ring measures 7/8 inches in diameter and weighs 5.5 grams.
