Presented is a terrific sterling silver pedestal bowl by International. The bowl has a great lobed design with very Jensenesque scroll and bead decoration on the rim. We believe this design may have originally been done by Alphonse Lapaglia who was a designer for International in the 1950s. It is certainly in his style.
The bowl is hallmarked on the underside with the maker’s mark for International and Sterling.
The bowl is in great overall condition. There are a few little dings here and there and some surface scratches, but some of this could by polished up. There are no major dents, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
The bowl is 6 1/2 inches wide and 2 7/8 inches tall. The weight is 209.6 grams or 7.3 ounces.
