Interesting 1921 Danish Denmark Silver Large Serving Spoon Pastry Server Scoop
Regular price
$194.00
Presented is a nice antique Danish silver serving scoop or pastry server, dated 1921. This piece is made in an interesting pattern with raised designs at three points along the handle, for which I was unable to find a proper name. Another serving piece for sale in the same pattern is attributed to the maker L. Hahn, so that is likely a fair guess for the maker of this piece. The blade/bowl of the server is as unique as the pattern, made in a long shallow almost shovel type shape. Great for a wide variety of serving purposes.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The stem is stamped with the assay mark of Christian F. Heise, and the city mark for Copenhagen, with 21 for the year 1921 underneath. These marks guarantee the silver purity to be at least 826/1000.
This piece measures about 10 1/2 inches long.
This server weighs 82 grams. -jm
