Presented is an attractive, Victorian 14 karat yellow gold brooch or pin made during the 1830s-60s. The pin is in an interesting form, with a raised bullseye center and a scalloped or ruffled edge. The pin has an old C-style clasp.
The pin stem is marked 14 for the gold purity.
This piece is in excellent overall condition, especially considering its age. There is a small hole in the back of the pin but this is only visible on the back of the piece, as you can see in the photographs below. There are no other flaws and no repairs.
The pin measures 1 1/8 by 1 3/8 inches and weighs 7 grams.
