Imperial 14k Yellow Gold Art Deco Wristwatch

Offered in this sale is a classic 1930's man's Art Deco watch by the Imperial Watch Co.. The rectangular case is accented at both ends with ribbed gold bands or hooded lugs that cover the strap pins, and with a domed crystal, that give this watch its strong Art Deco lines. Matte finish champagne dial with black Arabic numeral chapters and subsidiary second hand. The stem wind and set movement in excellent working order and fully guaranteed for 30 days. On brand new diamond finish calf leather strap.

Marks: Watch face signed Imperial, movement signed Imperial Watch Co. / Swiss / Inside of case stamped Acme14K. There are several jeweler's marks on the inside of the case, one of which is 8/40 (August, 1940) confirming the 1930's dating of this watch. The watch is also stamped 14 kt. on the exterior of the case. 

Dimensions: Case 1 1/4" x 13/16", length with strap 9". The leather band could easily be changed to any color, any style and any size. 

Condition: Exceptional, rarely if ever worn condition, with only the slightest surface wear. This watch has been professionally cleaned and is keeping good time.
