Huge Gorham Sterling Art Nouveau Centerpiece Bowl

Presented is a large, sterling silver centerpiece bowl made by Gorham around the turn of the 20th century for retail by Shreve, Crump & Low. The whole piece is very Art Nouveau in form, with undulating sides and a ruffled rim. The flared rim has a thick scroll border and there is a large leaf decoration in the middle of each curved panel. This piece has never been monogrammed.
The underside is marked with the old Gorham hallmark, sterling silver and Shreve, Crump & Low Co.
This piece is in great overall condition. There is surface wear commensurate with age and use. There are a couple of pin point dings to the sides, but they are only noticeable upon close inspection and are not really visible unless you are inspecting the piece very closely. There are certainly no major dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The bowl measures 12 1/4 inches in diameter, is 2 3/4 inches tall and weighs 511.3 grams or 18 ounces.
