Presented is an elegant 14K gold and amethyst brooch made by Henry Blank & Company of Newark, New Jersey. The pin is topped with 6 rectangular faceted amethyst set in a row with the stones angled diagonally. Each amethyst measures approximately 4 millimeters by 6 millimeters. We estimate the total carat weight in amethysts to be at least 1.5 carats. The stones are securely prong set in a nice yellow gold mounting.
The pin is marked on the side with 14K and a maker’s mark for Henry Blank & Co. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold.
The condition is excellent. There are no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The pin measures 1/4 inch wide and 1 3/8 inches long.
