Presented is a wonderful American Arts & Crafts movement sterling silver salad serving set, by R. S. Buck. The set consists of a long handled spoon and fork, in a very sleek and timeless style. The pieces are handwrought from heavy sterling silver and have a great feeling of weight and quality in the hand.
Both pieces are stamped with the maker's mark R. S. Buck as well as sterling and handwrought.
This set is in excellent condition. The fork has some minor surface abrasions, but both pieces could easily be polished up to a bright high finish. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The spoon and fork are both about 11 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 300 grams or 10.6 regular ounces. -jm
