Presented is a set of 6 porcelain cups and saucers from Christofle. This set is done in the Rubanea Rouge pattern. It may also be titled Ruban or Rubanea Red. Each cup has a thin red and gold boarder at the base and a thicker boarder at the lip. There is also a gilded line down the handle. Each saucer has a gilded boarder and a knotted red and gold circular design. There are three knots along this circle. We have additional pieces in this pattern. The underside of each dish is marked with Christofle Porcelaine. The pattern name, Rubanea Rouge, and with “Micro Gold” which indicates that these cups and saucers are microwave safe.
The set is in excellent condition. All the coloring is crisp and free of wear. There is minimal to no surface wear, and no breaks or repairs. Probably never been used.
Each cup is 3 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches tall. The saucer measures 6 1/4 inches in diameter. -kc
