Handsome Pair Antique Silverplate Candlesticks

Presented is a handsome pair of antique silverplate candlesticks. These candlesticks date to the mid 1800s, and are possibly of French make, though we aren't sure. The candlesticks are very well made, featuring threaded construction that allows them to be disassembled, a very interesting and rare feature. The candlesticks are made in an appealing classical form, with vertical fluting on the shafts and socles. Please note, the candlesticks will be shipped disassembled, but they are easy to reassemble as they just screw back together.
This pair of candlesticks is in great overall condition. As you can see in the photos, one candlestick has some wear to the silver plating on the bobeche, showing the base metal beneath. Otherwise the silver plating is in good shape. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each candlestick is about 10 ¼ inches tall.
