Handsome Pair 14k Gold Engraved Crest Cufflinks by Larder
Presented is a handsome pair of 14 karat gold cufflinks with engraved crests
and mottos. These cufflinks were made by Larder and date to around the
1950s-1980s. The cufflinks are done in a classical oval form, with a rich
Florentine finish on the face. Each cufflink is fabulously hand engraved with an
intricate crest and Latin motto. One has a crest of a lion's head erased above a
shield, with the motto Nec Temere Nec Timide, meaning 'Neither rashly nor
timidly." The other cufflink has a crest of a bird on a helmet above a shield,
with the motto Vive ut Vivas meaning 'Live so that you may live.' The cufflinks
have sturdy toggle style backs.
The cufflinks are in great condition. The toggle backs have a good
