Presented is a fantastic quality International sterling silver chalice and patten. The chalice and patten have a rich gold wash. The chalice is done in a handsome classical form, with scroll, foliate and ropetwist decoration around the knop. The patten has an ornate engraving of the initial IHS (a Christogram for the name Jesus) against a cross, surrounded by an engraved woven crown of thorns and sunburst style rays.
The chalice and patten are in great condition. There are no splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside of the chalice is stamped International as well as sterling. The patten is stamped sterling.
The chalice stands about 8 3/4 inches tall. The patten measures about 5 1/2 inches in diameter.
The total weight for the chalice and patten is 789 grams or 27.8 regular ounces.
