Hamilton Platinum 14k Gold Platinum & Diamond Ladies’ Wristwatch

Presented is a wonderful quality platinum, 14K gold and diamond ladies’ wristwatch made by Hamilton.  The case and the large links directly above and below the case are platinum, while the spade-shaped links that compose the watch band are done in 14K white gold.  In other words, everything visible in the first photograph is platinum, while the type of links pictured in the second photograph and the clasp are 14K white gold. 

The case and the band are covered with diamonds.  In total, there are 104 diamonds.  We estimate the total carat weight in diamonds to be at least 2.1 carats.  There are 7 diamonds on each link of the watch band, measuring approximately 1 point each.  Around the watch face itself there are 8 diamonds above and below, measuring about 3 points each, and 10 diamonds on the sides, measuring about 1 point each.  The diamonds on the band and the 10 diamonds on the side of the case are all single cut stones.  The 8 diamonds above and below the case are modern round brilliant cut diamonds.  In addition, there are two large modern round brilliant cut diamonds, one set above the face and another below.  These two larger diamonds are about 50 points in size each, 1/2 carats.  They each measure approximately 5 millimeters in diameter at the top.  These are high quality stones that are securely bezel set in platinum.  The two largest stones have H-I-J color and VS clarity.  All the other diamonds are good stones
with a lot of life as well. 

The watch has a 17 jewel mechanical movement.  The watch winds well and is keeping accurate time.  The watch closes with a sturdy 14K gold clasp and has a safety chain for additional security.

The watch is marked Hamilton on the dial.  The movement is marked Hamilton 17 Jewels.  The case is marked 10% Irid. Plat, for 10% iridium and 90% platinum, the standard for platinum jewelry.  The clasp is marked 14K.  We have tested the watch with nitric acid and guarantee the case and the large links directly above and below to be platinum.  We guarantee the clasp and the spade-shaped links on the band to be 14K gold.

The condition is excellent.  The diamonds are securely mounted.  There are no chips, no cracks, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.

The watch is 6 5/8 inches long. This will fit a wrist 6 1/2 inches or smaller.

The total weight of the watch including the movement is 24.2 grams.  We estimate that there is 9-10 grams of platinum weight in this watch.
