Presented is an 8 volume set of The Complete Works of Moliere in the original French. The books have a beautiful red 3/4 leather binding and marble paper. The set was published in Paris by Marpon and Flammarion between 1890-1910. The books are 6 3/8 inches by 4 1/4 inches in size. They have 3/4 leather binding and five-ribbed spines with marble paper on the outside and inside flap. There is also gilding on the top edges of the pages. It would make a great addition to any bookcase or display shelves.
This set is in fair condition for its age. As you can see in the photos, there is some wear on this set. There are some loose pages in the first and seventh volumes. The seventh volume also appears to have some water damage. -kc
