Great set 6 Tiffany Co Russian Pre-Revolution Gilt Silver Colorful Enamel Spoons

Presented is a lovely set of 6 Russian pre-revolution gilt silver and enamel spoons. These spoons were made for retail by Tiffany & Co, and come with their original fitted Tiffany & Co storage case. The backs of the spoons are richly decorated with an asymmetrical floral design in dark blue, light blue, white, green and red. The floral design is beautifully detailed, with fine ropetwist texture borders in gilt silver between all the colors of enamel and a richly textured finish to the gilt silver background. The handle is likewise decorated at the end with teardrop designs in dark blue, green, and light blue enamel. The spoons come in a grey case with grey satin lining and a little locking mechanism in the front.

Each spoon is stamped with the Russian 84 zolotnik hallmark guaranteeing 875 purity silver, a maker's mark possibly for Grigory Sbitnev, and what is likely an export mark containing a delta for the city of Moscow. The interior of the lid of the fitted case is signed Tiffany & Co.

This set of spoons is in great condition. The enamel is in great shape. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The fitted storage case is in good shape, with some minor exterior wear, but it still shuts and latches nicely and is overall clean.

Each spoon is about 4 1/4 inches long.

The total weight for the set is 99 grams.
