Great Set 4 Italian Silver Souvenir Demitasse Spoons w City Crests
Regular price
$134.00
Presented is a lovely set of antique Italian silver demitasse spoons. These spoons are made in the classical twist-handle form, each spoon with a terminal in the form of a symbol or crest of a specific Italian city. One spoon has the fleur de lis for Florence, one has the winged stags crest for Genoa, one has the crossed papal keys for Rome, and one has the cathedral for Milan. The fifth spoon is unfortunately missing its terminal, but we are including it as a bonus, as it came with the set and is still quite useable.
Each spoon is stamped 800 for the purity of the silver, on the bowl.
This set is in great overall condition, except for one spoon. One spoon is missing its terminal, as you can see in the photos. The rest of the spoons are in great shape, with no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The intact spoons each measure about 4 7/8 inches long. The spoon missing its handle measures about 3 7/8 inches.
The total weight for the set is 61 grams or 2.1 regular ounces.
