Presented is a beautiful Wedgwood blue jasperware round planter from 1897. This piece displays classical Greek scenes with a floral border above and below, all in raised relief. The planter has a rich blue color with white/cream decorations.

The underside is marked with the maker's mark for Wedgwood, “England”, and the date letter “Y” possibly representing 1897.

This piece is in great overall condition. There is a bit of minor discoloration due to normal use. This could likely be cleaned up. The decorations are crisp. There are no cracks, no chips, no breaks, and no repairs.
