Presented is a lovely 7 strand pearl necklace. This is a modern piece, of
Italian make. The necklace is done as 7 strands of different kinds of pearls.
There are two strands of round white pearls, two strands of black or peacock
pearls, and two strands of peach pearls, with one strand of baroque or
freshwater pearls for contrast. The clasp is 14 karat yellow gold. The necklace
can be worn in a twisted torsade fashion, or a more loose and free hanging
style, we have photographed it both ways.
This piece is in great condition. The clasp functions well and closes
securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The clasp of the necklace is stamped 585 for 14k as well as an Italian
maker's mark.
The necklace is about 17 1/2 inches long, measured without the strands
twisted tightly together.
