Gorgeous 18k Yellow Gold Opal Mosaic Oval Statement Pendant

Presented is a gorgeous 18 karat yellow gold and opal pendant. This is a
relatively contemporary piece, possibly of American make, but it's hard to say
without hallmarks. The pendant is set with an oval cabochon that is made up of
myriad natural pieces of white opal, set against a black onyx background mosaic
style and covered on the front with clear glass or crystal. The opal piece are
all individual with varying colors and shapes, with flashes of blue, green, and
orange fire that catch the light beautifully. The pendant has a wide bail
(approx 7.5 by 8 millimeters interior), so it will accommodate a wide variety of
chain sizes and styles.
