Gorgeous 18k White Gold Filigree ~.5ct Diamond & Sapphire Ring
Presented is a beautiful 18 karat white gold, diamond and sapphire ring. This
is an American ring, dating to around the 1910s-1930s. The ring is set with
three diamonds in a vertical row up the center, with 10 additional diamonds and
four sapphires set around them. The centermost diamond is an old mine cut stone,
while the other two are transitional cut stones, all three are about 10-12
points in size. The remaining 10 diamonds are about 1-2 points each in size. The
diamonds are vibrant, sparkling stones of SI-1 clarity and H color, very fiery
and lively. The total diamond weight is about 40-56 points, right around half a
carat. The setting is very finely made, with beautiful hand engraving and
filigree openwork as well as a milgrain finish around the stones.
The ring is in great condition. The diamonds and sapphires are all intact,
with no chips. The filigree, the engraving on the shank, and the milgrain finish
are clean and crisp.
The band is stamped and guaranteed 18k.
The ring is a size 6 1/2.
The ring weighs 5.7 grams.
