Presented is a stunning 14 karat yellow gold, sapphire and diamond ring. This is a relatively modern ring, likely of American make. The ring is made in a classy halo style with a twist. The center stone is a pear cut sapphire measuring about 8.1 by 6 by 4 millimeters, or about 1.4 carats. Surrounding the sapphire are 14 modern brilliant cut diamonds of about 2 points each in size, vibrant dazzling stones totaling just over a quarter of a carat in weight. The band is made in an elegant swirl design with fluted decoration on the shoulders.
The ring is in great condition. The sapphire and diamonds are all well set, with no chips. The ring is stamped on the interior of the band with a maker's mark and copyright mark. We have tested the ring with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold. The ring is a size 6 ½. The head of the ring is about 12.2 millimeters wide, while the band is about 3.3 millimeters wide at the narrowest point. The ring weighs 5 grams.-jm
