Presented is a great sterling silver lettuce serving fork from the turn of the century. This piece is in the American Beauty pattern, which was patented in 1896 and displays lots of roses and scrolls along the handle.
The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for George W. Shiebler and the patent.
This piece is in great overall condition. The fork end shows remnants of a gold wash but it is mostly faded. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
