Francisco Rivera Mexican Sterling Silver Bird Brooch Pin and Earrings

Presented is an interesting Mexican sterling silver pin and earrings set made
during the 1950s. This set was made by Francisco Rivera. A very good quality
Mexican maker, although I rarely see his work. All three of the full-bodied
pieces are in the form of matching birds. The birds all have engraved feathers
and a little swirl design over each of their beaks. The earrings are screw-back
and the clasp on the pin has a safety catch.

The pin measures 1 5/8 inches long, each earring measures 1 1/4 inches long
and the combined weight of all three pieces is 21.8 grams.
