Presented is a fine quality sterling silver salad serving spoon or berry spoon made by Towle Silversmiths. The spoon is done in the Canterbury pattern which was first produced in 1893. The spoon has a beautiful gold wash on the bowl. The tip of the handle is engraved with a G in Gothic script.
The spoon is marked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Towle, 925/1000, and Sterling.
The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The serving spoon is 8 7/8 inches long.
