Fine Sterling Silver Towle Old Newbury 1900 Pierced Serving Fork 8 1/2"

Presented is a fine Towle sterling silver serving fork. This piece is done in the attractive Old Newbury pattern, which began production in 1900. This is a simple, classical pattern with a beaded border around handle, front and back. The fork has four tines with an interesting openwork design in the middle. The handle has a monogram of BG in elegant script. This is a sturdy, well made silver piece, with a nice feeling of weight in the hand.

This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The back of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for  Towle.

The fork is about 8 1/2 inches long.

This piece weighs 93 grams or 3.3 regular ounces.
