Fine Set 6 Towle Sterling Silver Old Colonial Demitasse Coffee Spoons
Regular price
$158.00
Presented is a lovely set of 6 Towle sterling silver demitasse or coffee spoons, made in the classic Old Colonial pattern. This pattern began production in 1895 and as the name suggests, was inspired by the craftsmanship and aesthetic sense of the colonial era, particularly the historic Newburyport area. These spoons have a monogram engraved on the back of the terminal: five with an O in Gothic lettering, one with EWR.
These spoons are stamped with the maker's mark for Towle as well as sterling.
This set of spoons is in excellent condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon measures about 3 7/8 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 70 grams or 2.5 regular ounces.
