Presented is a great set of 6 sterling silver forks. These forks were made or retailed by Bigelow, Kennard & Co. The forks are done in a simple, elegant form, with a classical shell design on the handle. The back of each handle has a monogram in the same flowing script, four have EF and two have ET.
This set is in great overall condition. The details of the design are nice and crisp. There are some knife marks to the backs of the tines. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each fork is stamped Bigelow, Kennard & Co as well as 925/1000 for sterling silver.
The forks are about 7 1/4 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 237 grams or 8.4 regular ounces. -jm
