Presented is a fine set of 11 sterling silver demitasse spoons made by the William B. Durgin Company. The spoons are done in the New Standish pattern which was first produced in 1905. The spoons are engraved with ‘Irene’ on the ends of the handles. They have a light gold wash on the bowls. A great gift for anyone named Irene.
Each spoon is marked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Durgin, Sterling, and a retailer’s mark for Bailey, Banks & Biddle.
The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The spoons are 4 1/4 inches long.
The weight is 108.4 grams or 3.8 ounces.
