Presented is a wonderful quality, sterling silver basket retailed by JE Caldwell. The basket was most likely made by Redlich or Mowser. The sides are pierced with design and the reeded or ribboned edge is adorned with leaf accents. The handle is tight to the body, it stands up on its own and the top has a monogram of the initials MCJ.
The underside is marked for the retailer JE Caldwell and sterling for the silver purity.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There are no damages and no repairs.
The basket measures 9 1/2 by 7 inches and is 6 1/4 inches tall when the handle is upright.
