Presented is a gorgeous, 18 karat yellow gold and natural gemstone brooch or pin made by Stern in South America, probably Brazil. This pin was made between 1950 to the 1980s. The pin is securely prong set with 14 natural, faceted gemstones. The pin is done in the form of a bouquet of flower or branches of flowers. The rainbow of gemstones include amethyst, aquamarine, citrine, tourmaline, garnet, pink tourmaline and possibly others. The colors are vibrant, really nice stones.
The back has an applied plaque that is marked 750 for 18 karat gold purity. There is also the maker's mark of the letter S in a diamond shaped punch for Stern. Tested and guaranteed to be 18 karat gold purity.
This piece is in excellent condition. All of the stones are well set and have no damages.
Each gemstone measures approximately 4 by 6 millimeters.
