Presented is a lovely Arthur Stone sterling silver serving spoon or scoop. This piece was made prior to 1937. This piece is finely made by hand, with the marks of hand hammering faintly visible in the bowl. This is a good size serving piece, suitable for casseroles, berries, mashed potatoes, or whatever other serving purpose you like. The terminal of the handle has a monogram of F in Gothic script.
The stem of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Arthur Stone, used prior to 1937. There is also a capital B mark, the initial for the specific craftsman, in this case likely Charles Brown or Edward Billings.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
