Presented is a fine quality, 70 piece sterling silver flatware or silverware set made by the Manchester Silver Company. This set is in the Southern Rose pattern, which was patented in 1910. Each handle is covered in repousse flower decorations. This pattern looks just like Kirk's Repousse pattern. The blades of the knives are stainless steel. This set comes with the wooden, felt lined box you see photographed to prevent tarnishing.
This set includes:
12 Knives: 8 5/8 inches.
12 Forks: 7 inches.
8 Salad or Dessert Forks: 5 7/8 inches.
12 Round Soup or Gumbo Spoons: 6 3/4 inches.
24 Teaspoons: 5 1/2 inches.
1 Serving Spoon: 8 3/4 inches.
1 Serving Fork: 8 5/8 inches.
Each piece is marked with the Manchester Silver Company hallmark and sterling. The knife handles are marked sterling handle and the blades are marked Manchester stainless steel.
This set is in excellent overall condition. The very tip of one knife handle has a tiny ding. There are no other flaws and no repairs.
