Presented is a fabulous antique Danish silver serving spoon, dated 1925. The spoon is made in a beautiful Art Nouveau inspired French Lily/Fransk Lilje pattern, which as the name suggests features an embossed fleur de lis design on the terminal of the handle. This spoon is particularly nicely decorated, with additional decorative flourishes along the sides of the bowl of the spoon, which is a generous large size. The back of the terminal has an engraved monogram/presentation of A.E. And the date 1925.
The spoon is stamped with the Danish three towers mark dated 1925, guaranteeing a minimum of 826 purity silver, as well as an assay mark for Christian F. Heise (1904-1932) and a maker's mark for J. F. Albrechtsen.
This piece is in excellent condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
This piece measures about 9 inches long.
