Felger 14K Gold Diamond Pin/Pendant Necklace c1940s
Presented is an elegant vintage 14K gold and diamond pin or pendant made by F.
& F. Felger of Newark, New Jersey. The pin is done in an attractive spiral
design with a modern round brilliant cut diamond set in palladium at the center.
The diamond is a really good quality stone. It has at least VS1 clarity,
perhaps better, and H color. The diamond measures approximately 3.35
millimeters in diameter. The diamond is approximately 18 points in size or
almost 1/5 carats. The pin has a hinged bale on the reverse so that it can also
be worn as a pendant. The pendant is currently strung with a nice gold filled
chain. The pin was made in the 1940s or 1950s.
mark of FFF for F. & F. Felger. The clasp is also marked 14K. We have
tested the pin/pendant with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold. The
chain is not solid gold; it is gold filled.
The condition is excellent. There are no chips, no cracks, no splits, no
breaks, and no repairs.
The pin measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
The gold filled chain is 21 1/4 inches long.
The weight of the 14K gold pin/pendant is 9.5 grams. This does not include
the weight of the gold filled chain
