Presented is a wonderful antique Chinese bronze travel incense burner, in the form of a lotus bud. The 'travel' aspect comes in to the picture by means of the burner's opening and closing mechanism-- by turning the bud, the petals unfurl to reveal the space to place an incense cone. Really a beautiful piece, with a nice patina to the bronze.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There is some dust, we have not cleaned or polished it to preserve signs of age. The mechanism of opening and closing functions well.
