Presented is a wonderful diamond and sapphire ring in a heavy gold setting. There are 4 diamonds, about 18-20pts apiece, for a total diamond weight of at least 72 points, or right around three quarters of a carat. The diamonds are VS-VVS quality and G-H color, very nice quality stones with a lot of life and sparkle. There are 3 sapphires of
about 18-20pts apiece as well, with beautiful deep blue color and great sparkle, all very nicely matched. The stones are bezel set and make a truly gorgeous contrast against the warm gold setting. This is a lovely piece of modern
jewelry, made with considerable craftsmanship from high quality materials, and would be an excellent gift this holiday season.
The ring is in excellent overall condition. The stones are well-set. There are some abrasions to the surfaces of the sapphires, however this is very hard to notice without resorting to magnification. Otherwise there are no problems.
The gold has been nitric acid tested and is guaranteed 14 karat purity.
